In Season 36, it was actually the red spot that was the hardest spot. In Season 37, it was the blue spot. In both these seasons, there were 380 shows total. 380 * 6 items up for bid = 2,280 total items up for bid.
In the last two seasons, the contestant in the _______ spot won ______ of the time.
RED: 25.0%
BLUE: 23.7%
YELLOW: 24.6%
GREEN: 26.7%

But two episodes have similarities (10-28-10 and 11-10-10):

- The blue spot never chosen

- 6 games lost each

- double overbid on the showcases, result -> more EL Skunkos

ALL SPOTs have a hit or MISS ....depends on the LUCK of the show,

AND

the most important element: HOW SMART the contestant with the LAST bid plays it out

and the "BID WINDOW" was 501 - 1050 ( or some thing like that)...

meaning the guy (or girl) bid 500. and the other person bid (?)some thing like 1050...

so if I went w/ my "lucky number" or a random bid of 625 I gave the

person that said $500 (UP TO) 624, if my bid would have been 1051 I had the ceiling

on the max amount of the prize...

Usually people just have fun and take a Guess on the bid...

BUT I had last bid, and I said (501) that meant I snubbed out the 500 $ bid,

and had all the way up to 1050 ( or something) .. .. there is NO REASON if the

person plays the way you should the LAST bidder can't get up on stage...

BUT,

when you are there , just having fun and (sadly) people "feel sorry" for some one

like if some one bids, 2000 ( they obviously over), the next bid is 650, and the next

bid is 651, *SOME TIMES* the last bidder who CLEARLY can GET on stage by

JUST SAYING 652, will take the HIGher road and say......885 . . .leaving a "bid window"

of over $200. and the (651) walks up and makes history... or at least tries to !!
