    • TRIVIA (2)

      • Not a goof as such, but with reference to Cowley, it seems a little odd that in the last episode, Look After Annie he had a somewhat less than favourable reaction towards Annie's black friend Stanley... Or maybe that was just because he was hoping to have his way with her again!

      • The way Dinny has been working for Mr Miller for all this time and has never even met him - thus not realising that Miller himself is black! Initially, a slightly strange turn of events but when you discover the reasons behind it - Miller using Hulton's Empire Society to run his tenants out of town - then the situation becomes clearer.

    • QUOTES (2)

    • NOTES (3)

      • Sheila Ruskin (Helen Zadie) later appeared in season five as Susan Grant in the story Cry Wolf.

      • This episode was banned from broadcast in 1978 because the plotline was based around the potentially offensive subject matter of racism and remains unaired on UK terrestrial TV, even though it has been shown in most other television markets around the world. The only time it was shown in the UK was on the cable network Superchannel in 1987, although few people saw this because hardly anybody had the highly-sophisticated 1980s satellite equipment needed to to receive it. UK viewers can now watch the episode for themselves since it appears on DVD box set Season 1 which was released in June 2002.

      • "The Cockpit", the name used in this episode for the water tower, was filmed in Southall and is now used as a block of residential apartments.
