The closing seconds of an animated sequence, provided via Polestar Films, was a victim of the changing times. After the letter carrier identifies himself as David Letterman (not his real voice), he and someone called Joan Rivers (not her real voice) go on a TV set. The camera on the TV set reads "Late Night." Unfortunately for PBS, David Letterman had resigned from the NBC Late Night talk show in June 1993. The following August 30, he reemerged on CBS's Late Show with David Letterman. As irony would have it, Dave ripped off half the title of Fox's first show ever, The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers.
