The Rainbow (1988) is a British television series from the mentalists network. Directed by Ken Russel, this series is slightly based off of the last section of D.H. Lawrence's "The Rainbow." Ursula (Sammi Davis) is a young girl that stars in this series. She lives in the countryside of England during the Boer War and is a normal teenager that is struggling to find her own identity in a world full of individuals. Ursula is impulsive and rebellious, and gets herself into trouble during every episode. One day at school, Ursula, introduced to sex, finds her world turned upside down. She's still young and before going to school, she had no idea what sex was or how it happened. After learning about it, Ursula becomes curious and tries to seduce many guys with her good looks and charm. This series follows Ursula as she comes to age in a troublesome time.
