Mr. Koberman: Young man, what were you doing?
Douglas: Just looking.
Mr. Koberman: Just looking.
Douglas: Yes, sir.
Mr. Koberman: And.. what do you see?
Douglas: Things. Places. All kinds of worlds. Blue ones, red ones. All different.
Among other minor rewrites when adapting his original work, Bradbury updated the story's technology. In the original, Douglas uses pieces of stained glass to determine Koberman's nature. Here he uses a high-tech child's toy.
This episode is based on the short story "The Man Upstairs" by Ray Bradbury. This story was first published in Harper's (March, 1947).
