  • one of the trinity of best RGB episodes

Boogeymen cometh, When halloween was forever, and the Mr Sandman, pretty much the best episodes of the series and they occured relatively early. Other notable entries are Citizen Ghost, Spirit of aunt lois, Mrs Rogers neighborhood, Knock Knock, Ghostbusters in Paris ( not so much the story but the grisly visuals)

Great GREAT villian, so fleshed out, so visceral in his plan for everyone to sleep for 500 years, he wants the world to come together for peace but at the expense of progress. And we get a great moment for Janine without any feminism message or equality nonsense that came later in the series, and nice to see into the dreams of everyone, even if they come off a little obvious.

Animation, really crisp, I think some parts were a little too dank looking though. Dialog is perhaps some of the whole show

    Animation : 8/10

  • TRIVIA (0)

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Ray: So nice of you to finally join us for breakfast, Dr. Venkman. (Peter mumbles something and sits down)
      Winston: What'd he say?
      Egon: I think, coffee...possibly cookie.

    • [Finding a sleeping dragon]
      Winston: Let's blast it!
Egon: Only if we have to. Every time we take out one of those things it's like holding up a sign saying, "Here we are." Let's try something else.
Winston: Something real ingenious, right? Something real scientific, right?
      Egon: We'll tippy-toe.

    • Winston: Well, don't just stand there dragon your feet, let's go!
Egon: I think Winston's been hanging out with Ray again.
      Peter: Good observation.

    • The Sandman: Wouldn't the world be a better place if it were filled with dreams instead of people?
Winston: But the whole reason people dream is so they can try to make their dreams come true. How can they do that if they're all asleep for five hundred years?
      The Sandman: That's irrelevant.

    • Peter: Okay, since reality seems to have gone bye bye, I say we open up the floor for suggestions. Any ideas? Ray?
Ray: Yeah. I suggest we go home, go to sleep and pretend none of this happened.

    • Peter: Great shooting, Winston. Now he'll have to see his tailor before he can counter-attack.
