      • Though it's been shown that ghosts can travel fairly quickly, Ray states to Egon that he doesn't know exactly how fast a ghost can fly, simply because no one has ever timed one.

      • Another interesting note is in the Ghostbusters ally, Dr. Katarina Novachenka--she greatly resembles the "cartoon version" of Dana Barrett, created by John Tobias(who would go to help make the Mortal Kombat videogames) for the comic book adaptation of the second Ghostbusters movie.

      • This episode reuses some footage from a previous episode. When the Ghostbusters enter the building, Winston says, "Are you sure this is where they're having the conference on the paranormal?" We then see shots of the people at the conference, which are really from the episode "Deadcon I." Since "Deadcon I" was from the early seasons of the show, and this episode is from the latter seasons, it's interesting to note how the animation and quality of the footage differs.

      • The second time HP Lovecraft's work is used. The "Old Ones" are a reference to the ancent evil Elder Gods on Lovecraft's works, like Cthulhu.
