An End To The Endless Summer is the final episode of the twenty-sixth season of The Real World on MTV. The roommates spend their last day together, do a few things around town and prepare to say their good-byes. Frank decides to move to California, and Zach and Ashley pledge to stay together.moreless
When the roommates take a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Priscilla gets wild and starts flirting with Nate, who is busy being terrified by the wildlife in the area. Meanwhile, Ashley and Zach separate themselves from the group, which causes Frank to blow up on them once again.
The roommates go on a camping trip, where Zach and Ashley once again separate themselves from the rest of the group. Later, Frank talks to Ashley about her reluctance to open up and then becomes furious with Nate for not having his back in the confrontation.
Alex arranges a surprise visit from Frank's boyfriend, but the timing couldn't be worse when Frank is out spending the night with another guy. Nate's romantic relationship with his heats up quickly, but fizzles out just as fast.
As Priscilla struggles to define her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, theroommates play a prank on him that ends with the police getting involved. Meanwhile, Alex performs in public for the first time.
As Zach and Ashley's birthdays approach, the roommates are curious why the two haven't started hooking up yet. Sam's meddling irritates Zach to the point where he blows up. Priscilla's first love, who broke her heart, comes back into her life.
Frank finds himself falling for a guy he meets at San Diego Pride, which unexpectedly brings him closer to Zach and Ashley. Meanwhile, Nate begins taking some action with his suicide prevention charity work.
Sam receives some bad news from home, and Zach divides the roommates by making an offensive comment. Zach and Ashley become closer, bonding over trips to the spa and the gun range, and the roommates start their jobs at The House of Blues.
Things get tense when Alexandra's boyfriend comes to the house for a visit. Frank receives a disastrous haircut from Priscilla, and a wild night of drinking with Priscilla's family ends with Nate in tears.
Frank upsets the roommates when hebrings a guy home from the barand hooks up all over the house. Things get even worse the following night, when an outburst threatens to send one of the roommates home.
Sam and Nate use some alarm clocks to pull a prank on the other roommates, and things start to heat up betweenZach and Ashley. Frank has to deal with the fallout after becomingbelligerent during a night of drinking.
The cast assembles at the La Jolla house. Self-described conservative Zach does not wish to share a room with lesbian Sam, whose lifestyle choices he says are "opposite" to his, and Nate expresses reservations about rooming with bisexual Frank. Ashely is also attracted to Zach, and Nate to Priscilla, but despite returning Nate's kiss, Priscilla insists that she is not attracted to him, and their kiss not mutual. Frank's unrequited attraction to Alexandra, and the trauma of a past failed relationship of his, leads him to become drunk and confrontational with a woman at a club who calls Sam a "faggot", and exhibit similar behavior with Alexandra that disturbs her.moreless
