Red's guest is Gale Robbins.
Main sketch:
Bolivar, a disgruntled hash house cook, yearns to be a famous song writer. His girlfriend, a waitress and aspiring singer, tries to help Bolivar's career by performing one of Bolivar's compositions for an unscrupulous song publisher. The couple realize that the song was stolen when they hear it played on Peter Potter's TV show "Juke Box Jury."
Composers Jimmy McHugh, Ned Washington, David Rose and Dimitri Tiomkin appear as "Juke Box Jury" judges.
