Red's guests are comedian Harpo Marx, Virginia Grey, and gospel singer Mahalia Jackson.

Musical Highlights: Mahalia Jackson sings "Come On, Children" and "I Asked the Lord."
The Modernaires perform "Clap Yo' Hands."

Opening sketch: Red finds himself in the wrong studio.

Comedy Sketch: "Somebody Up There Should Stay There" - To protect him from the wrath of Clara, Heaven assigns George Appleby a Guardian Angel (Harpo Marx). The Angel replaces George's wife with a "new" Clara (Dyan Cannon) based on a glamorous woman in a magazine.

Silent Spot: On the battlefields of WWI, an American Soldier (Red) makes friends with a German soldier (Harpo).
Closing segment: Jack Benny, in a cameo appearance, presents Red with an award.
