      • Cesar Romero and folk-singers The Youngfolk were originally scheduled for the December 10, 1964 show. But the guests reportedly cancelled due to scheduled conflicts. Although this episode never took place, a copyright registration was submitted to the Library of Congress (as "It's A Treat To Sell Your Wheat In The Vladivostok Mud." Telecast: Dec. 17, 1963. 5Dec63; LP27736).
According to newspaper listings, the main sketch was to involve Clem Kadiddlehopper, having invented a formula for fast-growing wheat, being pursued by a Russian agent (Cesar Romero). The agent plans to kidnap Clem so the Russians can learn his secret formula. In the Silent Spot Red was to portray an "awkward animal trainer."
