The Reel Game

Show Summary

The Reel Game, hosted by Jack Barry, was a game show aired on ABC in 1971. The game show consisted of three contestants competing against one another. Each contestant was given $250.00 to wager. The game began by each player wagering a specific dollar amount based on a topic. Once all players made their wager, Jack Barry asked a question and the contestants wrote down their answer. Players either won or lost money depending on their answers. At the end of the show, the player with the most winnings would compete on the next show. All players went home with the money they earned. If a player lost all of his or her money, they went home with $25.00. If a player won three consecutive games, the player was awarded a new car.
