What a great idea.

This episode is one of my favorites. The start of the episode is kind of slow, but the speed picks up right away. I like the whole plot behind this episode, being that Anthony is a real person that wrote the letter to the Ren and Stimpy show. This is a very original idea for an episode and I havn't seen anything else like it before. Other shows should learn good plots from this show.moreless

- The unevenness of the short is due to it being only partially finished when 'Games Animation' took over the cartoon, and the original script was likely edited to death. (One in-house memo suggested Anthony's family be giraffes rather than people!) Billy West voices Ren during the eyeball scene with John K. doing the rest of the episode.

- Anthony is a real kid, and that's a real letter he sent to John K. and the Spumco bunch. They flew him out to the studio to record his voice for the cartoon and made a whole to-do about it.
