  • "Ren and Stimpy's" last hurrah.

When I was young, I had a best friend named Roscoe
and we used to do lots of fun stuff together. One of the things we used to do during recess was reenact our favorite cartoon shows. One of the shows was "Duck Dodger's in the 24.5 Century," the other was "Ren & Stimpy's Black Hole." I always played the 2nd banana as Porky Pig or Stimpy, but I always knew the 2nd banana was really the more well-liked, more popular, and secretly the smarter of the two characters, I just never let my friend Roscoe know that. Unfortunately however, time changes things. By the time I was nine, Roscoe had abandoned reenacting cartoon shows and set off on a crazy scheme to rule the world ala "Pinky and the Brain" but that didn't flow very well with me as I had tired of playing second banana and being treated like the stupider half of a cartoon duo when I was really the smarter of the two. If that wasn't bad enough, I noticed my first favorite cartoon show had changed to. It just wasn't as funny or as enjoyable as it used to be. I didn't know what had changed at the time but I did know "Ren and Stimpy" was no longer the groundbreaking cartoon it had been and instead of being controversial to help shake up the status quo, it was reduced to being a babbling, idiotic, stupid, cartoon that was gross purely just for the sake of being gross. This episode was the last great chance "Ren and Stimpy" had to keep me being an avid fan. Although it was the best episode I had seen in a long time, I somehow knew that the episode was also the best that I was ever going to see from "Ren and Stimpy" ever again and there would be no getting back to the great show it used to be. I painfully waved goodbye to "Ren and Stimpy" with this episode, and proved remarkably wise to do so as the series continued to plunge downhill from that point until it was finally cancelled one year after this season finale ended. :(moreless
  • Very original, but I've watched better.

Cheese Rush Days was very original and had a good concept, but I didn't really enjoy it very much. Weiner Barons was also an all right episode. Weiner Barons had its funny moments, and the fact that wieners were everywhere was pretty funny. I did like the plot of Weiner Barons, but I feel it could of been better.
  • Cheese Rush Days: Ren and Stimpy goes to a mountain to dig up blue vein cheese. Weiner Barons: Ren and Stimpy goes to Canada and works to be weiner legends.

I've been looking foward to review this episode for a long time!

Cheese Rush Days: It was really lame! Ren is out of character because he just cared about the blue vein cheese! It got me worried, and I was getting annoyed how Ren acted in that episode. Well, what's else is that I still hate it, I really do. Ren tricked Stimpy! He looked him up just to get his hands on fools blue vein cheese, which means Stimpy was tricked again! This better not happen to him again, and either an episode should be like that again, never! Not even ripped off! I don't even eat blue vein cheese! Who cares about blue nugets?
    EPISODE GRADE: Double D D-

Weiner Barons: It was way better then the last one! As the matter of fact, it was the best Games episode EVER! It went on nice, no plot holes, made much sense, Ren was not as mean as he was, and the idea is dreamy! It was a weiner episode! I love weiners! This episode provs weiners are more then just plan ol' food. This episode must have been waiting to try out but Games didn't think about doing it. But, they gave it a chance anyways and worked out well! I knew there was somthing missing from these Games episodes! It's a shame Games didn't keep that up.
