  • One of the nicest episodes of Ren & Stimpy

    6.0
I'm not a fan of Ren & Stimpy, but this show is really funny. The first segment ("Fire Dogs") is memorable for the long chain of falls from the top of the building. We successively see a giant baby, a horse, a walrus and an elephant. The diffrent reactions of Ren and Stimpy hooked me.

I prefered the second segment ("The Littlest Giant"). The fun even begins before Stimpy starts the tale's reading. The fact that Stimpy has to read the book upside down is pleasantly silly. The tale itself has its memorable moments, particularly personnificiations by Ren and Stimpy themselves.

As I wrote before, I'm not frivolous about Ren and Stimpy. I find that this cartoon has gross-out parts a la South Park, as well as ugly sounds and images which don't fit with me. But this episode's still funny and it's above the show's average.moreless

Stimpy: But Ren, I'm a cat.
Ren: (to Stimpy) Shut up, you fool! (to the Fire Chief) Don't listen to him. He's a good man, but he's not quite right in the head.
