The gigantic 'brainiac' aliens were designed by John K. after a rare children's game called Captain Quatem which was supposed to teach kids the dangers of drugs.

The plot outline of 'Untamed World' is actually reused from the remake series of Bob Clampett's Beany and Cecil by John K., Jim Smith, and Lynne Naylor for ABC.

There was an edit in 'Untamed World'. The whole Crocostimpy bus scene never actually made any sense since Nick cut most of it out. In the original storyboard, the Crocostimpy was supposed to say "What's The Big Sleep, Ren?" and hop onto the bus, while a bunch of female Crocostimpies were going to chase after the bus yelling "He's dead, you idoit! Don't you know what dead is?" The quotes were references to the first Ren and Stimpy cartoon, 'Big House Blues'.
