  • Kind of lame in the end

The episode was off to a fun start when Todd entered Riley's art class because he thought spelunking, his only other option, meant getting slapped with a fish all day. "Dangit!" he exclaimed when Riley told him that spelunking meant exploring caves. Dick spending all of K's money on a dining car and then actually teaming up with Shelton (cuz K can't cook) to turn it into a profitable business was an unexpected delight. Then things got bad as Dick and Shelton had a fight for no particular reason, essentially putting themselves out of business. Todd accidentally stuck gum to his sketch pad and that's how his gum sculptures got him rich and famous (so much so that he was using gum sculptures as currency) but it did not work out in the end. Disappointing. A gym coach originally teaching the art class using paint by numbers and Buzz riding nine miles on his bike just to throw eggs at Dick was kind of odd too.moreless

    • Part of Riley's disguise while attending the grand unveiling of Todd's masterpiece is Todd's glasses from The Rizzle.

    • Pops Hartman makes yet another appearance as a model during the art class.

    • C.A.R. does not appear in this episode.

  • NOTES (1)

    • Sammy Stephens

The rap that Dick and Sheldon did for their diner was a reference to a commercial that Sammy Stephens made in 2007 for his Montgomery Alabama flea market which featured himself doing a simple dance and rapping about the market. The video became an Internet sensation and meme and was parodied in other shows, including on the The Cleveland Show a few months after this episode.

    • Quatloos

When the people of the future are bidding on Riley's painting, one person shouts out a bid of 100 Quatloos.

Quatloos were the currency used by the gamblers of Triskelion in the Star Trek episode "The Gamesters of Triskelion"
