Two words: cruel irony

The theme for both episodes was cruel irony: Riley getting rid of all her "embarrassing" stuff when she didn't have to anything besides be herself, and Todd being so secure that he couldn't escape his spy-proof room. K is also so paranoid that she doesn't end up selling any of her own things at the yard sale, while C.A.R. manages to sell Dick all of his things back. The reason why it's a yard sale rather than a garage sale is because C.A.R. threatens the forceful use of mace on anyone who comes near his garage. K tries to use a drinking glass, which she claims isn't technically a spy device, to listen through Todd's spy-proof door, and Riley suggests she find a new hobby, to no avail.moreless
