Yep, looks like Eddie Izzard is working on putting together a film of the series...Apparently he has the 'ok' of FX & TBS but no money...Izzard confirmed in an interview that Driver will also be a part of the film...In an different interview Eddie states that the film would take off right where the Series left off before the cancellation...But apart from that, no news

That would be amazing. Of course I'd rather the show just start back up again. It wouldn't be hard to do, just start back from where they left off. The wouldn't have to skip ahead and do complicated flash backs. It would be really cool because The Riches is such a truly amazing show. It deserved a chance. It was something totally different. It was compelling, dark, and humorous. There was nothing like it. It's a shame that it wasn't on a bigger network like Fox or abc. Then it might have had a better chance.

And obviously Eddie was really passionate about it too. Everyone else should have been too, because it was truly the best show out there. I just wish more people could have known that.

Looks definitely dead at this point. The kids will be too old now to possibly just continue the story.

Seems unlikely this film comes to fruition...Time has passed and he's already loaded with appearances & work...Next up for him will be a recurring role on United States of Tara for HBO's third season

Here in Australia, we only got to see "The Riches" during 2010.

It started airing late at night - around 10pm.

It was so good, that we stayed up late to watch. Then, it was put back progressively later - commencing around midnight!!

STILL we watched as it was a really terrific show. Too bad about being tired for work the next day.

Season 2 has not even aired yet, so being impatient to see the next episodes, we bought the set of Seasons 1 & 2.

Imagine our complete horror to find out that is it! No more. finished, THE END.

WHAT THE HECK HAS GONE ON? It is SO cruel to leave us dangling in suspense.

And because it ceased production nearly 3 years ago, it seem the chance of a continuation is unlikely, but

PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE, we can promise to watch any further episodes - or a movie or ANYTHING with a conclusion.

AND we will BUY whatever is produced - promise!!!! And we'll enthuse a whole new audience - telling Everybody!!!

    We live in hope!!!

    Your fans Down-Under.
