  • A new boarding house operator has a less than stellar past.

    8.3
Katy Jurado plays the new owner of the local boarding house who previously cheated people at a crooked gaming house.

In another town, four people (two women, two men) are being forced out of town because of their crooked card dealing. They've learned of their old partner opening a business in North Fork, and plan to move in and take over.

Lucas recognizes the new owner as "Big Anna", and after trying to get her to leave town, learns more clearly of the new leaf she has turned over, and begins to support her.

A good story, that will make you smile as Lucas does all he can to reverse the evil talk and slander the four try to dish out in North Fork -- but hardly anyone is listening, and no one will support them.

There's a good showdown in the boarding house, and of the course, as always, the story ends on a happy note.

A good episode, with good interaction between Lucas and Mark (great table manners!!), and Lucas and Micah, who offered Lucas the "first stone to throw".moreless
