  • The man Marshal Torrence sent off to prison seeks revenege.

A very good, tense episode that features Lucas riding into a nearly deserted North Folk -- one lone horse standing outside the saloon, and the marshal (Micah Torrence), standing watch across the street.

Lucas scares off the former prisoner (Lee Van Cleef) -- but he is set on returning for revenge. First, he shoots Lucas while he's chopping wood at his farm, and then returns to the saloon to wait until Micah falls asleep on watch.

Back at the farm, Mark sees blood on the ground, and tracks it into the house to find his father trying to help himself. Mark puts him aboard the buckboard, and takes him to the town's doctor (Edgar Buchanan). Mark comments to the marshal that the town looks mighty empty.

Micah tries to fight off sleep as he stands watch, and Lucas, recuperating at the doctor's, tries to come to the rescue.
