      • Jim Rockford: "You don't want to wind up looking like an extra from Fort Apache?"
This is a reference to the John Ford cavalry classic Fort Apache (1948) starring John Wayne, Henry Fonda, and Shirley Temple. The film is based on the Battle of the Little Bighorn which saw Lt. Col. George A. Custer and the 7th Cavalry regiment defeated by a much larger force of Sioux and Cheyenne Indians.
