THIS is the one of the Qunitessal ANGEL MARTIN Episode { The others are when MARtin thinks he can minulupate City Hall and runs afould of Lt Chpman and the other when he tries to con gangsters into thinking he is a hitman} MARtin tries to conn his way out and fails. especially hilirious wjhen the crazy hitman goes ballistic at MArtin when Martin tries to be a snitch to the Hitman! really truly hilarius is when at the end the writer Martin hired to write his "autobiography" refuses to do it for two reason-big shot gangsters pressure him not to write it and anyway its so bad that what Martin thinks it needs a touch up the writer remarks that even mouth to mouth resuccation couldn't bring it back to life! At the end everyone wins and Martin ends up lossing as usual! especillay is Jims remark to Angel that he has got something even if it isnt worth much--his life!moreless

I can't pick a favorite moment or scene out of this episode because there are just too many of them. Stuart Margolin gets to take center stage in this episode that challenges Angel's conscience and sense of right and wrong (but not too much) and gives us both sides of Angel we love so much...the arrogant, greedy moocher and the conniving weasel. Or maybe they're the same...

It's a very funny episode first and foremost, but also has some healthy doses of action and strong performances. James Luisi gets some of his best moments as Lt. Chapman and Gerald McRaney provides some nice support as the D.A. trying to get Angel to testify.

Hey Doug, let's get a hustle on those eggs!moreless
