    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • When Jim reads the newspaper article from Brianne Lambert, the article mostly has gibberish that repeats several times, but it mentions him taking over the load of his good friend Gandolf Fitch. The friend who he's taking the caseload from is actually Booker Hutch. Gandolf Fitch was a recurring character in the series played by Isaac Hayes. Later, when he reads the article to Dennis, he says Mr. Hutch instead of Gandolf Fitch.

    • QUOTES (1)

      • Booker: I never meant that you should end up in a hospital.
Jim: Eh, beats dead. Fortunately, I took the brunt of the trauma to the hardest part of my body, my head.

    • NOTES (2)

      • When Jim and Brianne are in the Sand Castle, Jim goes over to talk to Harvey, who's eating alone and reading a book titled King Con: A Novel by Stephen J. Cannell, one of the creators of the show.

      • This movie was dedicated to the memory of Luis Delgado, who played Officer Billings in the series, and was a long-time friend of James Garner.
