Richie Brockelman took a short spin with his own show after Rockford for a while and crashed his converible along the way. This was one of the promotional plugs for the Dennis Dugan vehicle. It's more Rockford fun but more contrived than many other episodes. But there are some notable happenings in this two-parter.

It's all to do with conning a rich guy (Robert Webber), as usual, who has done a financially nasty deed to Brockelman's pa (Harold Gould). I believe it is the most elaborate con featured in the series with a whole staff of con folks out to snooker the bad guy.

Of particular interest is the interaction of Rockford and his former beau (Trisha Noble). I feel this relationship says alot about Rockford's past. It's so well written I wish an entire episode featured this character and a story to further flesh out both characters. Unfortuntely Noble nevered returned.

About Angel and these two episodes is in my review of part two....moreless
