      • Ryker: (to The Rookies) Do me a favor, clue me in on your thinking ahead of time. On second thought don't warn me it would take too much excitement out of my day.

      • Country: You know killing is not an easy thing to do. I know. It looks easy and all in the movies but...it's not! It's just not an easy thing to do. It's sort of kind of tough to kill somebody, did you know that?

      • Country: (to Jill Danko) Sometimes I would go to one of them 'houses' you know. And I never let on but alls I ever do was just talk to the girls. I mean I never did anything else. Just talking about it, talking about the killing, somehow just made it easier for me to sleep. That's why I gotta talk to you.

    • NOTES (4)

      • Listen for the "Deliverance"-inspired score throughout this episode.

      • Sheen's character was in the Vietnam War. One of Sheen's most popular film roles was in "Apacolypse Now" which was about the Vietnam War.

      • The phrase "Snow Job" is also used as a headline in a newspaper article about Terry.

      • In this episode guest star Martin Sheen delivers a riveting performance as a young drug-addicted vet who is plagued by war flashbacks and is always searching for guidance. Sheen plays President Bartlet in the hit TV series "The West Wing" and is the father of Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez.
