  • Television's first slow motion gun impact shot!

This is an infamous television episode. Directed by Gene Nelson (I Dream of jeannie) this episode featured the first "Slow motion impact gun shot". Unfortuantely when the episode reached syndication the entire 'slo-mo" sequence was removed because it was VIOLENT. It was not meant to be 'excessively" violent ,it was done to promote a new special effect and filom technique never done before on television. Unfortunately NO ONE has seen this episode uncut since 1974 ! Season two is not on DVD and noyt shown on any known television network and was edited in syndication. I have a rare uncut copy of this episode on DVD from a 16mm ABC film print bu ti am in the seriosu minority. Aside from that it was also a very well written and engaging episode.moreless
