I won't go into detail, but though this episode was well executed and superbly acted - as with most of the earlier episodes - the subject matter fails to suit the Saint that well.
Case in point, the opening segment seemed as if it walked right out of an episode of the A-Team - complete with Templar in safari jacket, brandishing a machine gun. All he needed was a cigar to complete the Hannibal Smith character.
Nevertheless, the rest of the episode is well-done, if one of the grittier outings. Suzan Farmer's terror and sorrow at realizing that the enemy has surrounded her inside her house - alone - is superbly acted. This segment alone makes the episode quite poignant.
I don't usually criticize the low-budget sets on this show - after all, this was par for the course during this era - but Dr. Julias' house looked particularly cheap from the "outside" of the building.moreless
