Does this show appeal to mainly men or women?

I would guess men, if only for the gross humour.

But I'm a woman and I like this show.

I really can't say. I'm the only one of my friends who loves this show and I'm female. But most my friends are girls so that might say something.

Well, maybe both. I'm a guy, and my former roommate and I both loved this show.

Her ethnic background has nothing to do with her appearence, it seems kind of judgemental, or as said before a bit bigoted.

But For me this show mainly appeals to men, seeing as I'm the only one who watches it. In my family that is. I say this because my sisters don't watch, meaning only men watch. This is from my experience.

*I've a feeling Rana was basking in the land of - gasp! - sarcasm, considering Miss Silverman IS a Jew who often jokes about being one. I could be entirely wrong, I suppose, but hey, the smiley said other wise. For people who watch this show, well, ya seem to offend very easily. But, hey, if a crazy, cute Jewish lady can slag off black people, christians and poeple with aids with a pearly white smile and get away with it (and paid for it), I guess that naturally means the blog poster who makes a little joke is a big ole bigot.

    * = this post may or may not be laced with sarcasm and slight prejudice. But, hey, I'm a cute, foul mouthed Jewish girl with a pearly white smile, so it's OK

It's hard for me to say as I'm a guy and I watch shows targeted for women (Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, One Tree Hill) as well as shows for men (wrestling, Dexter, Curb Your Enthusiasm). I'd say it appeals to women in the sense that the star is a strong-willed female, but the strong supporting cast, dirty humor and being on comedy central targets 18-35 men as well.

It wasn't intended racism, it was something she said in a promo for the show, or at least it was over in the UK/Ireland. She's says "kinda cute, for a Jewish girl, girl"
