    Finally, a subplot that didn't make me cringe! I absolutely adored The Sarah Silverman Program in it's first season -- but lately the Brian/Steve subplots have been really awful. Really, really awful. pot-t*ts penis-casts, and beards? Thankfully, this episode returned to the higher quality shows of the past. It may be missing the social commentary of better episodes, but at least they're back on the right track. Sarah and Laura reunite with their father, but Laura isn't pleased with the way Sarah introduced them. In typical Sarah style, she went overboard by bringing the family on a daytime talk show and singing a song to her father in a truly hilarious segment. They later go on tour, and unfortunately the song gets progressively less funny the more you hear it. This episode could have benefited from "a little more"... there wasn't much plot and the characters didn't interact with each other much. Still, it's a solid show and definitely an improvement over some recent misfires.moreless

    I cannot believe that a TV show actually did the "you are listening but you are not hearing" bit. Big ups for The Sarah Silverman Program being not only one of the most creative shows on television but adapting to pop culture.

    This was a fine way to end the season. Sarah singing "Stay" was funny but the first time but it became unnecessary to show it five more times. The stuff with Steve and Brian also felt really forced. Those two just cannot seem to buy a good storyline this season.

    A plethora of laughs tonight and here's to hoping it is not a year until the next season begins.moreless
