The Sarah Silverman Program

The contestants on Cookie Party are judged on their cookies, but they are never tasted by anyone.

Rose Silverman's tombstone in this episode is entirely different from the one that is shown in the opening sequence of some first season episodes. Also, the dates are slightly different.

In Brian and Steve's apartment, the first shot of the coffee table with the bong on it shows quite clearly that it's a different, older looking table than all the other shots.

Sarah says that she lives at 227 Waverly Place Apt. 6D

The song that plays when Sarah visits Doug in jail is "Saint John" by Cold War Kids.

The full name of Sarah's dog is Douglas Jerry Silverman.

The song that plays while Sarah reminisces over her abortions is "Good Riddance" by Green Day.

The scene with the black man (who later turns out to be God) asking for Sarah's cell phone number was supposed to be from the first episode. But because the producers felt the episode was a little "too much" they moved it to the end of the season. Therefore, his appearance as a former lover is out of sequence.

When Heather is singing the "Poop Song" with Sarah while she's in the tub, when she turns her head to look at Sarah you can see the tube top that's covering her chest.

When Sarah speaks to the class, there's writing on the chalkboard that says "Rhet Bear go to Health Office". Rhet Bear is the Director of Photography for The Sarah Silverman Program.

Brian Posehn is seen wearing a Titannica shirt in this episode. This is a reference to the Mr. Show with Bob and David episode "The Return of the Curse of the Creature's Ghost," where Brian appears in a sketch about the fictional band. He and Jay Johnston were co-writers of that episode, and Sarah Silverman appeared with them in the episode.

The video game that Steve is playing in this episode is Mortal Kombat:Shaolin Monks. This is one of the many popular games from the fighting franchise Mortal Kombat developed by Midway.

Sal Iacono (who plays the neighbor), has his last name misspelled in the credits as Iocano.

Robot Bastard - A short film written and directed by Rob Schrab. He is also one of the creators of The Sarah Silverman Program.

The video game Steve is playing in this episode is Halo 2. This is a poplar game developed by Bungie and can be played on a Xbox, Xbox 360 or PC.

Writer/director/creator Rob Schrab provided the voice of the Loch Ness Monster in the animation sequence.

We learn in the opening sequence that Sarah found her dog in the trash.

In the opening sequence Sarah states that her parents are dead. Their tombstones in this sequence reads "Max" and "Rose" Silverman.
