  • Stupid plot, and highly insensitive/offensive. Appalling!

    I am a Sarah Silverman fan, but this episode was offensive and extremely unfunny.



    I just don't get any of it.



    The most disturbing part is how obviously deliberately they attempted to be as hateful to anyone who was in or lost family members in the Holocaust as they could. Talk about being your own worst enemy, and even with all this, none of it was even remotely funny or satirical. It was self-loathing at its worst, and that makes for very unpleasant tv. Did Ed Asner think it was ironic or funny to portray his Nazi with a Galician (i.e. Polish/Ukrainian Jewish) accent, or is he just very untalented?



    This episode could have been done in a humorous and semi-tasteful manner, but instead it was just plain ignorant and offensive. I just don't understand what possessed them.moreless

    Ridiculous. Such a sensitive issue but handled with eloquent disregard for all sensitivity. Brilliant again. This episode is not one of the best of season 3, but it's not bad.



    The whole episode is basically three stories. The story of Sarah and Lauren, Brian and Steve, and Doug. One of these stories happens to involve a couple of holocaust memorials gone horribly wrong, but they all come together for a hilarious ending.



    If this episode offends you, it's not a very serious show, so don't get try not to get too offended. The Sarah Silverman program is a show of the future, where people are truly over their differences and can just laugh about stuff.moreless
