The Secret Circle: Prom Moms (PHOTO RECAP)

"Prom" continued The Secret Circle's hot streak, but this time amped up the emotions just as much as its pyrotechnics.

  • Episode Summary

It's Prom night in Chance Harbor, and Blackwell instructs Cassie to user her dark magic to locate a crystal hidden in the school that Adam had uncloaked. Cassie makes a startling discovery when she follows Blackwell's advice. Faye invites Jake to prom even though he stood her up two years before. Melissa, Cassie, Adam, and Diana arrive at prom but find themselves in a life or death situation when Eben gets his hand on the crystal. Meanwhile, Dawn tires to stop Blackwell, who casts a deadly spell on Charles.

    • Love It!

    • Prom and Problems for the Secret Circle

Prom was a perfect episode of The Secret Circle and I really enjoyed watching because there was a lot of action, drama and intrigue. It was interesting to watch the story lines unfold and blend together as Cassie and Diana learn more about the truth of their parents. The flash back scenes were awesome and very well done. John Blackwell is apparently more than he seems and has ulterior motives in all he does. Dawn played both sides to her advantage as best she could. It was interesting to see Cassie and Diana connect for at least a moment. It was weird to see Nick again, even if he is possessed by a demon. The ending was very interesting and definitely left me wanting more. I certainly look forward to watching the next episode!!!!!!!!!moreless
    • The show is awesome, deal with it

Seriously!? They brought Nick back only to kill him again!? What is wrong with them!? Poor Nick!!! I really hoped the gang would save him, how foolish of me... And yet, the episode was f-ing awesome! & I knew that Grant was too good to be true, and I was right! He's with Blackwell! And did anyone else get the vibe that Grant might even be John's son?!? I wouldn't be surprised, not with Blackwell's reputation... Anyway, I am very curious to find out what is his plan regardless setting Grant and Diana up, because I am certain he did. And we HAVE to give the man some credit, it takes some twisted mind to come up with all the plans Blackwell has came up with. Do we even believe that Eben isn't working with him anymore, because at this point I can't be sure about anything where Blackwell is concerned. Next episode should be REALLY interesting, the heck it probably will be even better than that! I am really looking forward to the season finale and season 2 too hopefully, so please don't bring my hopes down The Secret Circle, I beg of u, I really wanna be amazed by your twisted revelations... what can I say, the show is awesome, deal with it.moreless
    • The Slow yet the Strong one. :)

      It was overall FFFking AAAwesome.

Now time for some ranting... Why producers why?

When you had such great potential... such great adaption and screenplay... why you no start showing strong storyline from early on?

But still... I believe in renewal chances.

So personal +/- verdict on this week's episode

      Acting - 7.0/10

      SFX - 3.0/5

      Screenplay - 9.0/10

Music-6.0/10 (Although that prom's dance song was gooooood!!!)

      Personal favourite + points ~

      1. John Blackwell's ambiguity is solved - He is pure evil (Though motive still not clear - oh well better for season 2... eh?)

      2. Diana, "Daddy killed Cassie's Mom...". Raindrops and Tears.

      3. Another episode which reminded me why I like Faye the most of them all. :D

      Nonsensical advances and direction=

      1. If they wanted to kill Nick all over again and that too, that pathetically why the hell did they bring him back in the first place? A weird diversion.

      2. Can they use magic only once? Weird... don't tell me they have their 'MANA' meter down! And get messages like 'Mana low... can't use xyz spell.' And why do they only use magic for flicking lights out? Use it for battle you fools

      3. What's the point of having guys in team when they can't be the brawn of "The Secret Circle". Seriously I could use some 'fighting sequences'. All they do is getting knocked out or running around like a bunch of pre-school kids during recess.moreless
