Adrian and Pandora's class are taking a field trip to the British Museum. Adrian and Pandora are very excited at the prospect of seeing some of the amazing exhibits there and, of course, nobody minds a missing a day from school to go on a trip to London either! Things do not go well when Barry Kent and his friend misbehave on the bus and the driver is afflicted with 'Motorway Madness'. Adrian is concerned that the driver is not fit to be in charge of the vehicle and is worried about the safety of those on board. At the museum itself, while Adrian, Pandora and a few others wander around admiring the exhibits, Barry and other run amok and cause several problems for the teachers, museum staff and the London police. Adrian, for one, is glad to return to the safety of home!moreless

  • School field trips are almost always fun so when Adrian hears that his class is going to the British Museum, he is very happy ... until things go disasterously wrong.

A field trip by Adrian and Pandora's class to the British Museum sounds like it's going to be great fun. It will be exciting to go to London and see such an amazing place. On the day, however, it seems that only Adrian and Pandora are looking forward to the event and anticipating experiencing the cultural significance of it rather than just having a reason to get a day off school!

Things don't start off well when most of the class (lead by Barry Kent) are so badly behaved on the bus that the driver suffers from what appears to be 'Motorway Madness' and is seen to be behaving erratically. It is even worse when they actually arrive in London as Kent and his friend run amok, causing great difficulties for the museum authorities as well as the teachers who are trying to keep everyone in line.

Poor Adrian, it seems that even this venture into sophistication, art and culture is going to be ruined for him! A great episode and very well acted by the young cast. Very funny and lots of light-hearted moments in general.moreless
