Mother Gives Birth
AIRED:
It's time for the newest member of the Mole family to make his or her entrance into the world and Adrian becomes far more involved in it than he ever intended because he is now 'the man of the house' with his father gone. When Pauline goes into labour, Adrian goes to the hospital as per her instructions and is appalled to learn that she expects him to stay with her throughout the whole traumatic event. Really, Adrian has quite a lot on his plate at the moment with Pandora, school and worrying about his family, so having to be present at the birth of a baby is overloading his coping capacity quite a bit. Needless to say, he is pleased that all goes well when his tiny baby sister finally makes her entrance.moreless

  • It's all action in the Mole household as Pauline goes into labour and Adrian has to stand in for his absent father.

Pauline Mole, at the age of thirty-eight, hasn't exactly had an easy pregnancy with her second child and all of the ups and downs and trauma surrounding her marriage to George haven't exactly helped much either. When she finally goes into labour, Adrian is forced to be in attendance as George and Pauline are, once again, separated due to all the alarming circumstances which seem to be a part of everyday life.

Adrian is not overly pleased at having to be in the ward while his mother brings a new baby into the world but even he has to admit to a certain amount of pride when little Rosie Mole finally makes her entrance.

This is a very funny as well as a very touching episode and everyone who loves Adrian should certainly watch, you'll be glad you did.moreless
