The Secret Life of the American Teenager Season 4 Episode 2

Another episode highlighting Ben's stupidity and immaturity.

I love the Ricky and Amy relationship. It's so nice to see Ricky being so happy and in love. And their little family is so cute.

I'm glad Betty helped Adrian pull out of her funk a little. She is such a fun character who brings a new dynamic to the show.

And Ashley. Her voice annoys me more and more every episode.

Overall a good episode.

A really good episode of Secret Life and a step in the right direction after the not so great premiere. Although now that this episode has marked this show as the longest running original series on ABC Family, I think it's safe to say that it's the most unrealistic.





Yes, people have complained about this before, but I think this is where I draw the line. George and Anne letting Amy move in with Ricky? Also letting Amy go on a cross-country road trip with a stranger? Where is the realism? Honestly, I'm not seeing it. It's even the little things like Ricky barging in to the girls bathroom to talk to Amy.





I don't know, this show can be realistic at times when it comes to the character's emotions but it's for the most part, very untrue to the actual life of a teenager. Now that my rant is over, I can talk about the episode. Hopefully Adrian returns to her old self soon, I was impressed at the Betty & Adrian scene.





How insensitive is Ben? Seriously? I guess that's where the episode was getting at, I guess it makes sense. Ricky & Amy's issues are pretty uninteresting, and I'm actually looking forward to seeing some Jack & Grace interactions when she gets back. Overall, good episode with a lot of takeaway scenes.

It is rare that I will cite a Betty scene as the highlight of an episode, but her calling out and really ripping into Adrian was the best part of tonight's show. Hopefully that is able to get her out of this funk, because believe me, we are all in mourning too, having to see a once fun character relegated to this.





Liked the tease of George and Anne getting close at the end. Not sure why this how ever broke them up, but I guess staying in love is not such an easy thing to do.





Was I the only one hoping for a Kathleen and Jack moment at the dinner table tonight? Probably, and I probably just watch too much TV too.





This was a fun little episode. While the show may have some bothersome storylines right now, it is one of the better dramas still on the air in June.
