  • Good episode

    7.5
Finally, the downward spiral for The Secret Life is over and the show is back on track. Here we had the perfect mix of some dramatic thing, a little bit of comedy, and some good build-up for the future of this show.

I think this show is going to find itself in a gopher hole (is that an expression) when it comes time for the cast to go to college. They are different in age and the idea of them all going to the same college would be such a cop-out like Gossip Girl did.

But that's years away, and right now we should just enjoy the show and George Juergens' hair plugs!moreless
  • Amy is emotionally disturbed because Ben slept with Adrian and now she can never be in a relationship with Ben again. Ricky visits his mom.

    7.5
I think I'm back to writing reviews of the Secret Life of the American Teenager. The show is getting much better. I like how there's consistant storyline now. I like how Ben is getting more attitude because he's boring a goody two shows. I love the scene with Amy where she reveals to her mom that she's in love with Ben, and after finding out what he did with Adrian, she starts crying, and then Jimmy calls, and she feels all better. I like Ricky scenes in this episode with his mom. I like how we know a little more about his character's background and stuff like that. I give this episode a 7.5/10.moreless
  • Grace hits rock bottom.

    10
Ricky leaves town to find his birth mom, with some dramatic results. She gives him money, sort of a peace offering. That scene in the end with his mom was really powerful which brought the rating to this episode way up. I like how it digs in to Ricky's past. Really good plot. I didn't know what to think of Amy crying, with her whole speech, and then she's totally fine like a second later. I don't if that makes her insincere? I have no idea. George tries to impress Anne by changing his image. I feel sorry for Anne, haha. Ashley talks to Ricky in this episode, via cell phone. I'm really liking their friendship. Grace realizes she has no friends, and she also cries about it a bit. She realizes she has hit rock bottom, no doubt about it. Unexpected turn of events for her character, I would say. She also tries reverse psychology with her mom which doesn't work out that well, since her mom & her boyfriend end up eloping! I have decided that Adrian has no soul, since she would even consider sleeping with Ben again. Loved the Ben/Amy confrontation. Madison still doesn't want Jack to see Grace. Powerful Leo/Ben scene. The episode was very eventful, entertaing, powerful, and amazing!moreless
