  • Another great episode

In this episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, the following happens. While Amy moves to New York for 4 weeks, her father is worried about her. Adrian has own problems to deal with when more people find out that she is pregnant. She tells her mother the truth and she says that she will support her in whatever she decides to do.

As the episode ends, we see her father telling that she should keep the baby. We then see Tom, who asks her to marry him. She has say no, he tells her to think about it and he plays a song on his phone and they dance.moreless

Would The Secret Life really have an abortion story arc? Nah, I predict Adrian will decide to keep the baby and everyone will be happy again, but what if I am wrong? That would probably turn off a lot of the younger viewers of this series.

I was a bit worried that this show might be ruined if too many people from Brenda Hampton's old show, 7th Heaven, popped up, but the two former castmembers provided a much needed spark here. The coach asking Jack if he was on crack was a hilarious moment, as was Zoe antagonizing Adrian for the Ben situation. Now I want both characters to pop by more.

But the main problem with the show is that Amy is still really unlikeable. The fact that she argued with her father because he called her dorm an apartment just made me hate her even more.

    But overall, good episode.moreless
  • Amy gets ready to leave for New York.

What a great episode, this really captured all the character's emotions so well. And even though the last scene was somewhat ridiculous, it still was an incredibly emotional scene, that Secret Life managed to pull off without unintentionally making me laugh.

In the wake of Adrian's mom, Cindy, finding out about the pregnancy, she supports Adrian one hundred percent on whatever she wants to do. If she wants to terminate or have the baby. Time is running out, and Adrian has to make a decision quickly, she's pretty much set on having an abortion. But her father disagrees, which could tear her family apart based on a moral decision. Wow, what an amazing plot, I have to say this was a huge step up from the last episode. Grace tries to fight her way back in to Adrian's life since she doesn't want to lose her friendship with Adrian. Adrian continues to avoid her. Then, guess who's back? Zoey. She's sleeping with Ricky, and she continues to taunt Adrian, Grace defends Adrian pretty well. I was actually surprised that Grace pulled Zoey's hair. Madison & Jack get really serious, much to her discomfort.

Amy gets ready to leave for New York, and Ben tries to decide whether or not he should tell her before she goes. He ends up not telling her, but I'm really liking their happy relationship, I don't think we've ever seen these two this happy together. Amy leaves at the end of the episode, and Ben continues to worry. Meanwhile Ashley gets jealous of Zoey & Ricky, so she tries to counteract by giving Grant a chance. At first, I didn't like the idea of Ricky & Ashley, but it's starting to grow on me.

Bottom line, I loved all the plots. And it was smart to bring a character from the past. This really kept me intrigued for the next episode. Amazing episode overall.moreless
