Great episode, the last scene between Amy and Ricky was so beautiful and really great, they make an amazing family and couple. I loved the play on words and how they were both happy that Amy was back home. Can't wait to see what happens next between them! I think that they can make it work and that Ricky can stay faithful if he finds the right women, and I think Amy is just right for him, she can put him in his place and she can make him feel something that he hasn't felt before, can tell when he answers the door, I have never seen him that speechless in any episode. Can't wait for the next episode!moreless
  • Mid-season finale.

We got some definite improvement since the last episode, but that's how the first half of this season has been, improvements and pitfalls, and then improvements again. A lot of eventful things happen in this episode, and it's strange because usually I haven't enjoyed the mid-season finale's but in this case I did.

So at this point, Ashley's gone completely crazy as she runs away from home and begs Ricky to have sex with her. Ashley & Amy's conversation helped us understand where Ashley's coming from. Ben finds out how much Adrian's ring is worth, and decides he wants to pay it off. Resulting in an on screen kiss between Ben & Adrian: Their first. Ricky & Amy have their first date. Ben & Amy get some closure, which was heartbreaking, in my opinion, after all they've been through. I think the only annoying thing about this episode was Jack. Who barged in every single time Grace or Grant were talking about abstinence. Betty also got on my nerves a bit. No boss is that involved with the worker's personal lives. Just small annoyances, nothing big.

I definitely think the interactions from the characters helped this episode a lot. Amy actually talking to Madison and Lauren, her supposed best friends. An actual sister moment between Amy & Ashley. Adrian & Grace being in the same scene, which we haven't seen in a while. The George & Anne drama was reused. Pretty much, overall a great mid-season finale, with eventful occurrences and great interactions from all the characters.moreless
  • The mid-season finale.

This episode was pretty good but of course it had some things that really annoyed the crap out of me and not just a little annoyed but annoyed to the point where i wanted to hit something.

    1) Ashley stalking Ricky AGAIN! when i first heard that ashley liked ricky i thought it was just some crush but now its turned into full on psycho obsessed mode and im talking ali larter obsessed with beyonce's man obsessed. Like get over it. he didn't want you. i sorta understood where she was coming from but going in his bed was 2 much.

    2) I think that was the only thing that annoyed me.moreless

This season of The Secret Life has had its highs and lows, but the past few episodes have been really good. The show is finding its footing, it is staking its claim as the 7th Heaven in 2010, as the Beverly Hills, 90210 of our generation, but this season finale was weaker than the past two or three episodes prior to it. I thought the year ended, not on a low note, but with a bit of a setback, if you will. Ashley stalking Ricky? Grant still being on the show at all? While it was an enjoyable hour, this was not even close to one of the better episodes this season.moreless
