Episode Recap

The episode begins with Vic going to Danny's house to tell her that he doesn't want to relinquish his rights as a father to Lee and that he plans to fight for it by getting a court ordered paternity test. He gives Danny till the following day to agree to work things out between them or he will take her to court.

A meeting takes place between Vic and Aceveda, RHD Detective Kouf (who was investigating the Robert Martin shooting) and the ICE director and Olivia. Aceveda turns over the blackmail box to ICE in order to use it to take down Pezuela. The ICE director is upset that Vic disobeyed a direct order to turn in all evidence on Pezuela and tried to use the blackmail box with Aceveda on their own. The director orders that the investigation be handled only by ICE thus costing Vic the credit he would've gained by bringing down Pezuela. Kouf is also mad at Vic for losing the high profile case to ICE.

Vic's hearing is pushed up and he gets terminated without pension and has only 10 days left on the force. Kouf influenced the committee's decision by saying that Vic cost him the Robert Martin investigation by not following orders. Also, Vic didn't have the blackmail box to look good in the eyes of the committee.

The strike team gets called to the scene of a hooker beaten to death. Farrah (a hooker who tricked Vic before) asked for Vic personally and told him that their pimp Bombay was the one who killed her friend for trying to go straight. Vic refuses to help her but Julian takes her statement.

Olivia is mad at Vic for not telling her that he had the box all along. He assures her that Aceveda removed her file from it but that simply means that he could be planning on using it for his own gain. Olivia tells Vic that ICE is planning a huge raid on Pezuela's construction site after Rios went in and didn't come out. The figure Rios' body will be found at the site and they could get Pezuela on conspiracy charges. Vic tells Olivia that such a raid would send Pezuela into hiding and they decide that he should warn Pezuela about it. Vic warns Pezuela, who then tells him that the business between them is over since he didn't deliver the blackmail box.

Meanwhile, Dutch and Billings get called to a B&E in Claudette's neighborhood where the homeowner shot the burglar but didn't get a look at him. Dutch takes the opportunity to check on Claudette but she doesn't answer the door. Feeling worried, he breaks into her house and finds that it is a complete mess.

Danny meets with Corrine and tries to convince her to testify that Vic is an unfit father so she would have sole custody of Lee.

Back at the barn, Claudette offers Vic a chance to get some of his pension back if he leaves before the 10 days are up, but Vic refuses. Claudette also assigns them the Bombay case since he is also a drug manufacturer.

Corrine informs Vic about her meeting with Danny. He tells her that he wants to fight for his rights as a father because it's his responsibility to be in the child's life and he wants to set a good example to his other kids.

Vic and Shane go to meet with a hooker identified by Farrah named Capuchina. She tells them that she doesn't know where Bombay is but tells them that his right hand man, Two-Man will know where he is. They go back to Farrah who takes them to where they can find him.

Meanwhile, Dutch sees that break-ins in Claudette's neighborhood have gone up by 15% and Billings thinks they should talk to a private home security firm run by ex-cops who have many clients in the area. The guy running the firm is Lester (who had a run-in with Vic before). He gives them a couple of potential suspects.

The strike team arrests Two-Man, during which Ronnie punches him repeatedly in the jaw. He tells them that Bombay is at his meth lab. The go in to arrest him, but he comes out shooting and Julian kills him.

Back at the barn, Danny gets served to appear in family court. She gets angry at Vic and makes a scene. He tells her that he is just responding to her going behind his back to Corrine.

Olivia tells Vic that the raid came up with nothing. He asks her to set up a meeting with her boss.

Dutch learns from Vic that Lester is not to be trusted, so Dutch starts thinking that he has something to do with the break-ins.

Vic convinces the ICE director to allow him to give the blackmail box back to Pezuela for good measure and to allow him to stay connected to the drug cartels. They could then use it to get him on conspiracy and extortion and also get some higher level people in the cartels. Vic gets Aceveda to give him back Olivia's file so nothing would be missing from the box when he gives it back to Pezuela.

Dutch and Billings confront Lester with being responsible for the break-ins. He undresses to show them that he doesn't have a bullet wound. However, they get word that his partner JR reported shooting himself with his own gun accidentally. This prompts Lester to confess to staging break-ins to get clients for their security business.

Capuchina meets Shane and tells him that she saw Two-Man kill the hooker. Shane decides to keep this information to himself and tells Capuchina that he'll take care of it without her, because she wouldn't be a credible witness.

Vic learns from one of the girls in the meth lab that Bombay got a phone call just before they moved in for the arrest, which is why he came out shooting. Vic realizes that he was tricked again by Farrah.

Dutch tells Claudette that he is worried about her after seeing her house and that he hired a cleaning lady for her.

Vic goes to Danny's and they agree to work things out outside of court since that would be in all of their best interests. However, when Vic leaves we see that Danny is packing all of her things.

Shane meets with Two-Man and he tells him that he knows that he is the killer but offers not to arrest him if he kills someone. When asked who, he replies "How's your jaw?"
