While the Strike Team puts the finishing touches on the money train take down, Vic goes it alone and works with Dutch and Claudette to find a missing kid. David gets an unwanted visit from the Chief and Julien receives an unpleasant surprise. Another solid episode. The auditor is gone and David is forced to cut the force by 20%. The process of being told all this came across as kind of unneeded but the ending made up for it. Moments after David said that 4 members of the Strike Team and himself should be cut from the force, Vic is taken away in handcuffs because of the personal problems that he is having with his wife. To be honest I was quite surprised at both of these things happening right there at the end of the episode. This should set up the finale nicely with the big money train project sure to be included in there as well. I didn't see the point of vic saying that the money train was off, only to turn it right back on at the end of the episode.

Julian's secret is revealed to the entire barn, which is the only interesting thing to come from that storyline. His life went from glory to shambles in a matter of two episodes. We will see if his wife and him can get through that or not. Overall, very good episode but pretty much a set-up of what is to come.moreless
  • Ok, I'm still waiting for the money train caper to go down, so my patience is wearing thin, but this episode kept me diverted anyway. Thrillingly paced and finely acted, this is another great one.moreless

    9.5
Vic and the Team join Dutch and Claudette in the hunt for a missing kid, who may have been abducted by a pedophile- and time is running out for the victim. The money train heist gets more complicated. Vic's relationship with Corinne continues to deteriorate. Julien is once again harassed by Tomas, and now the humiliaton is also coming from his co-workers. Aceveda is ordered by the chief to trim the force by 20%, and he balks at the task.

Claudette is offered Aceveda's job by the chief. Oh, yeah- she also spends most of the episode glaring at Mackey. I get it- she doesn't like him. But, please writers, can't you give her something else to do?moreless

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • Just out of curosity, where did the other officers get pictures of Julien smiling? They're obviously made to look fake.

    • You can see the makeup job on David Rees Snell's face out in the heat starting to fade off his face. The plastic burn marks are noticable.

    • Look hard when Claudette is knocking on the door. It really isn't shut. It's slightly moving back and forth as she knocks.

  • QUOTES (1)

    • Vic: The law only allows us so much latitude. These guys have rights too. I'm a cop. I have to honor that.
William: Well I'm not a cop.
Vic: That's true. Just the father looking out for his son. (William runs across the street) You check this guy for a weapon?
      Shane: Yeah, patted him down.
Vic: Good, this guy is just looking for his kid. So let's be ready. (Watches William pound on the door and punch the guy inside) Oh, that's a felony in progress...
