  • It's going to be really interesting to see where this series goes in Season 2. This is a fine ending to the first season, and leaves you wanting more.

Vic and the Team go all out to find cop-killers who are ambushing officers after making phony 911 calls. Gilroy continues his betrayal of Mackey, attempting to enlist Aceveda to help take him down. Mackey, meanwhile, makes his own overtures to Aceveda as they form an unlikely alliance to stop the killing on the streets. The episode ends in a cliffhanger of sorts, with Mackey paying a steep price for his life on the streets.

A very good episode, although it didn't pack the punch of some earlier installments. It did the job of a season finale, in that it really makes me eager to see the next season.moreless

The season finale was okay, but it was more focused on the action-adventure randomness rather then the drama the show is pretty much based around. The interrogation scenes in this episode weren't anything like the ones we have seen this season, though the action and the suspense was top of the line from other episodes we have seen this season. The entire scene with Vic, Shane, and the bad guy was fantastic. I really liked how shane was reallyready to stand up for Vic because he couldnt do it and in the end I think the writers made the right call in keeping him around. Vics family dissaperring? Its a good storyline, I just really dont see the point of having Vic cry in his kitchen for 5 minutes, we kind of got the idea. A decent series finale, but nothing amazing.moreless

Mackey and Captain Aceveda must work together to stop these attacks and solve the problems in The Grove, while Assistant Chief Gilroy tries to pit the two against each other to save his own job. From the first episode this series proved that it was something new, something realistic and something that viewers had never seen before. All through-out the season we've seen vic mackey and his team breaking the laws in LA, and Vic himself will regret what he had done as it leads to his wife and children leaving him.moreless

  • Ben, blackmails the copkiller Vic Mackey into taking heat of the hit and run case while the precint tries to calm down the city while chasing after copkillers using fake 911 calls to kill cops.moreless

Ben , Mackey's friend now uses his blackmail leverage over Mackey to take over Aceveda's investigation and power.

Riots continue over the police's blunder of a 911 call and everyone in the precint is a target.

After Ben threatens Mackey's family, Vic decides to turn on him and tell Aceveda about what he did of course neglecting the fact that he killed Terry.

Not really having a choice, Aceveda decides to take Vic's offer.

This episode is crazy and it again shows Vic's master manipulation of the situation to save his own hide.

This is the last episode with the character of Ben, who originally as Vic's friend, turns out to be a big slimeball.

Lots of action, but really predictable. Still this is a classic.moreless

    • In the scene where Vic and Shane chase a witness of the cop murders and Vic jumps him you can see that somebody is standing to Vic's left, although Shane is behind him. It's probably the cameraman filming the close-up shots of the witness. Edit
    • In the scene where Vic is holding a gun to Gilroy's head you can see the microphone above them and a cameraman on the left side of the screen, if you watch closely. Edit
    • You can see a few of the needles are glued onto the skin instead of being injected. Edit
