"Its not about protecting Shane anymore......its about stopping him" I love this quote, totally summarized the current plot.
It was an pretty good episode with some intense moments. I was happy to finally see a confrontation between Lem and Shane.
Looks like Shane is kissing a*s big time...I`m happy with that...he is not Vic Mackey...end of line! ;-)
Interesting to see Dutch back on track, I don`t really care about Claudette, this character has grown seriously annoying. That Corine-Dutch relationship is a nice twist. For some reason, I did see that coming, it will be big time fun when Vic learns about that.
    Great episode.moreless

  • Another well-written, expertly directed episode, continuing the fine run of Season 4. Lots of action as well as intense scenes eliciting tour-de-force performances from the cast.

The vicious triangle between Vic/Antwon/Shane is speeding toward a resolution, and we know it's not going to be pretty. Shane continues to be caught in the middle, leaking intel to Antwon, which places him in jeopardy with Vic, then attempting to avert suspicion by helping Vic bust Antwon's heroin operations, thereby angering Antwon- which, we have found out, is a dangerous thing to do. Oh, and Lem is now onto him too.

Monica's policies continue to be controversial and unpopular- and now, with her team breaking a church door down to make a heroin bust, Julien has had enough. He rebels, and Monica suggests he apply for a transfer. So he goes to Aceveda, who is eager to help him take on Monica.

The quiet war between Dutch and Claudette rages on. And Dutch further strains his relationship with Mackey by interfering in his home life- wow, if Mackey's P.O.d about that, just wait until he finds out that Dutch asked Corinne out...moreless

  • Well Vic has no choice but to take Shane down but we will have to see future episodes to see how he will do it.

After what happened last week with Anton using Shane gun to kill the girl it's clear that Shane is in deep and he can't get out, he still think he's in control even Mac knows Shane well over his head, 'it's not about protecting him anymore it's about stop him'. So we finally find out what Mac going to do, even with money they found they could of taken it but he didn't, and to think it took a female captain to make him go straight. Asvader no matter how he tired in last 3 seasons he knew he couldn't do it. Since I kind of know what this series is about there's only 1 way out for Shane, which is killing Anton, that's the only way I'm guessing that it is going to end.

Dutch asking out Vic ex-wife, ouch I thought he was being nice to her in the past episode until someone pointed out he likes her well in this episode it's clear he likes her but she shoot him down and she gave a good reason. Still why Dutch such a baby with his partner obviously she going to be mad he made a deal but I'm sure it would of taken a few weeks. Did he have whine so much in this episode?

Asvader and other cop trying take down captain, The writer won't give up giving Asvader a story-line and I like to see how this plays out because I don't think she will be easy to get rid off.

    1. Directed by Vondie Curtis Hall.

    2. Antwon got Shane by the balls.

    3. Quote of the episode nominee: "They're like tight pussy. Rare and precious."

    4. Alright, Claudette is being petty now.

    5. On a related note, Dutch needs to stop trying so hard. Claudette ain't trying to hear it.

    6. Oooh, it's a cat and mouse game with Vic and Shane. Vic gets intel. Tries to hide it fro Shane. Shane tries keep Antwon protected. Back and Forth. I put my money on Vic.

    7. Dutch trying to get back at Vic by going through his old lady? That takes ballz.

    8. Man, they broke through a church. I'm glad they found the heroin. That coulda turned out real bad.

    9. How Vic gonna get all salty with Dutch after the BS he's put him through over the years?

    10. Rawlings is fair. I gotta give her that. And she ain't stupid. She knows something is up with Shane and Armey.

    11. Vic is gonna have to give up Shane. Most likely scenario is Shane will kill Antwon. He's got to or everything about the Strike Team will come out. Terry's murder, the Money Train.

    12. Now why is Julian consorting with Aceveda? Julian needs to man up.

    13. And the circle is complete. Lem is back!

    14. They got you on candid camera Shane!

    15. Grade: A Two straight solid episodes. It looks like the show is hitting it's stride again.moreless
