  • Intense.

    8.9
Well so far that is the best episode of the season. Intense with some great action, fun, and plot advancers. It was great.

Well the opener was kinda...WOW, WTF! The shield is unique and this Aceveda storyline proves it but I wonder where the hell this will bring this character.(That chick is super hot tho)

FINALLY Dutch and Claudette on a Murder case. Claudette is annoying but it was great to see classic Dutch. It was also fun to see Vic, Ronny, Curtis and Shane all laughing at the little film of Dutch they have...LMAO.

Finally Antwon Mitchell shows some promise, at last standing like a proper villain. I`m also happy Shane got the beating. The ending was intense.

Overall, a fine example as this Season is starting to pick up big time.moreless
  • Whoa! Another crackling-good episode in what is shaping up to be the most consistently high quality season so far. This one could be subtitled Fight Night...

    9.5
Aceveda continues to work his issues out with the aid of his therapist/human punching bag, and we continue to worry about just how sick this guy has become. Monica is ready to rumble. And rumble she does, first with Aceveda, over her controversial asset seizure program- SCORE: Aceveda wins by T.K.O. Then with Wyms- SCORE: Down Goes Claudette! Speaking of rumbles, a royal one ensues between Claudette and Dutch when she figures out he went to the D.A. behind her back- SCORE: Draw. Vic and Dutch spar a few rounds- SCORE: Are you kidding? No Contest! Even Danny and Julien mix it up a little- SCORE: Split Decision. And Shane tries jumping up to a much higher weight class to take on Antwon- SCORE: Can you say BEATDOWN!!!moreless
  • A Great Episode!

    1. Aceveda needs help. Seriously. This dude needs to call Dr. Ruth or Dr. Drew or Dr. Phil or somebody.

    2. She called Antoine out!

    3. Why is Aceveda hating on this seizure program? Oh yeah, he’s a politician.

    4. Poor Dutchboy! Vic playing the part of Roger Lodge.

    5. “Just attack it. Like you’re hungry. Like the wolf.”

    6. After watching the “Wire” I just can’t believe that they would have Shane and Antoine talking shop over open phone lines.

    7. LOL! They hit Army with a chair!

    8. Antoine ain’t no JOKE!

    9. Okay, Shane is a pussy if he doesn’t step up now. He let that girl get killed.

    10. That’s what he gets for trying to be Vic junior. Then again, Vic did kill a fellow cop in cold blood. But I digress…

    11. Grade: A That’s what I’m talking about. They just kicked the show up to 5th gear.moreless

    • (After shooting Angie with Shane's and Army's guns)
Antwon: (to Shane) Now, her body shows up with bullets in it from your two gats, and your card in her burnt little pocket... one time... doin' time... for a long, long time.

    • (After shooting Shane's gun)
Antwon: (to Shane) When I say suck my dick, you ask 'you want me to lick your balls too daddy?'

    • Vic: (to Dutch) Just attack it. Like you're hungry...like the wolf.

    • Dutch: I'm busy. And stop treating me like a suspect.
Claudette: You had a chat with Beth Encardi? If we carried the Webster case, maybe they'd let us out of the doghouse? Something along those lines.
Dutch: Fine. I confess. At least now we're getting confessions from other people too. Real criminals, killers.
Claudette: What are the errands that you have us running for the DA?
Dutch: Nothing. One of us needed to manifest this.
Claudette: You went behind my back?
Dutch: After being ignored head on for six months, you bet I did!
Claudette: But, it wasn't your deal to make.
Dutch: You're the best partner I ever had, I hung in with you, waiting for you to see this through, instead you just dug yourself in further. I wasn't going to sit on my hands, and watch you wreck your career and mine along with it. I got dinged pretty good in this too you know-
Claudette: But this was my fight.
Dutch: And you lost. So I threw in the towel with the DA and I'd do it again. And if you wanna be pissed at me, fine. Go ahead!

    • Vic: (To Aceveda) Hey, press conference hasn't started yet. You still got time to figure out how to take credit for all this!

    • Monica: Councilman. Getting me up there under the pretext of soliciting public support and then undermining me. Huh. Thanks for the crash-course in sandbagging.
Aceveda: I came willing to be convinced, I wasn't.
Monica: Congratulations. You pushed half that crowd into Antwon Mitchell's hands.
Aceveda: Oh that's a slippery slope. Using the boogey-man to run roughshot over people's rights.
Monica: Don't you have enough to do on city council? Or is this some power-trip of doing my job as well?
Aceveda: Actually, my job duties now include Vice-Chairing the Police Committee. Helping oversee how these seizures are implemented.
Monica: Well... I guess we need to figure out how to get along now.
Aceveda: Learn to what I say and we'll be just fine.
