Episode Summary

EDIT
The town is abuzz when Cheech and Chong announce a Springfield stop on their much-anticipated reunion tour. But when Cheech and Chong take the stage in front of their loyal fans, the jokes were just not the same for Chong, so Homer steps in and delivers all the punchlines by heart. Impressed, Cheech invites Homer to go on tour with him as new duo “Cheech and Chunk” while Chong forms a more progressive comedic team, “Teach and Chong,” with Principal Skinner. While Homer is on tour, Marge attempts to help the neighborhood cat lady and change her hoarder ways, but turns into a hoarder herself in the process, and Homer realizes that life on the road is not all high times and slapstick humor.moreless

  • Pretty Funny.

    9.0
This was probably one of the funnier episodes of the season. I liked how they had Cheech and Chong in this episode, but the only thing is that after awhile it got a little boring. The whole Teach and Chong thing was kind of funny but not that funny. It was one of the better episodes of the season, but I think they could have done alot more with this storyline. 9/10moreless
  • OH MY GOD!! you people just dont have any humor anymore!!

    10
For god sake! this was such a hilarious episode! There is no reason for you people to give this show such a bad rating because even though it has been going through twenty two years, they are still coming up with great plots and great guest stars. Fine! dislike what I'm saying for this review but who ever dislikes this will mean that you are boring and you don't have any more taste in humor. The Simpsons are going long and strong with all of there episodes and they will keep on going. They will keep on coming up with newer plots and newer guest stars and all you need to do is just get some humor for this show again and laugh! I am really serious!!moreless
  • Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong voice as themselves in an all-new episode of "The Simpsons".

    10
I thought that this was a perfect episode of "The Simpsons". I have always been a Cheech and Chong fan and I thought that it was so cool that they voiced as themselves in "The Simpsons". Of course, Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong were funny in this episode. I thought the maijuana in the beginning making Cheech and Chong get high was hilarious. Homer being the replacement for Tommy Chong and is working with Cheech Marin was funny. It was also funny when Homer was playing the George Lopez theme song "Low Rider". I also thought that this episode had alot of hilarious moments. The cat lady bringing all of the cats inside the Simpsons' home was funny. I thought it was funny when Homer had to sniff Cheech's behind which was part of their act at their comedy thing. It was cool that Tommy Chong came back with Cheech Marin again and that everything is back to way they are. Overall, I thought that this was a hilarious episode of "The Simpsons. It was perfect and it was a very well written episode. If you are a Cheech and Chong fan then you just might enjoy this episode and get a good laugh out of it. 10/10moreless
  • great

Cheech and Chong stop by Springfield to perform some comedy, but it just is not the same for Chong. Homer comes onstage, having memorized a lot of their past stuff, and he is a hit. He goes on to tour with Cheech, while Chong tries to find a replacement for his old partner. Marge meanwhile, discovers Crazy Cat Lady is a hoarder (unable to give up junk for various reasons), and tries to help her, but in the process, Marge realizes she too might have a problem.

Good episode. Lots of lines in it made me laugh. The only thing keeping it from a higher score is the subplot, which bored me, and so did some of the main act. But I laughed a lot, like Homer singing Low Rider with altered ratings, the ending line about hulu.com, Lenny and Carl scenes, Bart asking what Beavis and Butthead is. Good episode joke-wise, not great plot-wise, earns this a Bmoreless
  • Marge: "Like a reality show without the cameras!" Lisa: "So, just, reality?"

    9.0
So Homer is exicted that Cheech & chong are returning to Springfield, and gets tickets to the show. There Chong is fed up with doing the same skits over and over and has a fall out with Cheech. HOmer then fills up on the sketch & Cheech asks him to replace Chong.

So Homer leaves on a tour called "Cheech & Chunk".

Meanwhile, Chong makes audfitions and picks up Skinner cause he is TOO unfunny. SLH chases a ca into Crazy Cat Lady's house and Marge & Lisa go get him and discover she's a hoarder and deicde to clena up for her. Meanwhile Homer is starting to dislike the tour cause Cheech is the total opposite of his stage persona.

So then the trucks are talking Cat Lady's trash when Marge starts to pick some stuff, slowly (well it was quickly) becoming a hoarder herself. Homer returns with the Cat Lady to stop her. Cat Lady becomes a hoarder again and takes over the house, which Homer "will deal with later". At a show, Homer leaves the stage and tells Chong to go, and they finish the sketch. Chong states they he gets why the audience likes the classics and Cheech decides to try new stuff. Bart as a sheakspearian fairy tells us what happened later, telling everyone they can watch the episode on hulu.com

Overall: Good episode, joke-wise, Cat Lady is hilarious. Ralph has a great on-liner and there were great gags here and there. The Cat Lady & Chong plots could have developed more. 9/10.moreless
