i'm not a strong hater of clip-shows. they're not great, but they're not always as awful as people say. this was one of those episodes that is not great, but is decent. I liked the ending, Homer telling marge that mindy had been fired, and pretty much everything that wasn't in the clips was good. B+ or so is my final grade. If you get past it being a clip-show, it's an enjoyable outingmoreless

  • I HATE CLIP SHOWS. Pretty much all clip shows are filler episode...

After reading the weepy best-seller The Bridges of Madison County, Marge decides to sit down with her husband and children and discuss love. What follows is a collection of sweetest, most romantic moments from the last five seasons of The Simpsons. The sweetest part of all is that the writers got to take a vacation while the editors put together the show. This episode was pretty much a filler episode. I also think that this is pretty much no point to a clip show espically if you have seen every episode before it. Pretty much all clip shows are filler episodes.moreless

  • Very Bad Episode.

    5.5
    "Mediocre"
When Marge reads Bridge of Madison County, she decides to teach Bart and Lisa about romance. Marge tells the story of how she fell in love with a bowling instructor. Homer tells the story of how he had a crush on Mindy, a coworker. Lisa tells how Ralph Wiggum had a crush on her, and Bart tells how he fell in love with an older girl.

This episode is very bad. There aren't any funny parts, except for a few clips and flashbacks. There is also like 97% recycled animation in this episode. Not only is there clips, but also recycled animation from older episodes with new voiceovers. This is just a filler episode.

  • This was pretty much a filler episode. Fairly good but not a classic.

I have to admit that this episode isn't exactly that great, but I have a little bit of amusement watching it, even if not that much. It's just another one of those clip shows about Marge and Homer thinking back and having clips of them from earlier episodes. This one was about Marge and Homer telling Bart and Lisa what good things came from love.

Not a great episode, but good to pass the time.moreless
