This episode had a couple of good jokes but for the most part it lacked focus. It took half the episode to get to the main plot and even then it was rushed. There was a point when I was wondering when the problem was going to happen. This episode seemed to be completely about nothing.
I also wish they would use old characters. The scene where Homer is at Moe's and he's sad, and then the drunk guy next to him talks to him. We've never seen that character before. Why couldn't they use that old barfly they used to stick in? It's a little thing but it would've been neat to give him a voice for a small part like that. In my opinion, they should stop introducing new characters when they have a long cast of unused background characters they can use.
