If you could "erase" one episode, which one you would erase?

I loved All Singing, All Dancing! It wasn't just a clip show, there was original stuff too, like the "Paint Your Wagon" thing.

I would definitely erase The Principal and The Pauper. Enough said.

I wouldn't delete any because every single episode has something I like.  But if I had to delete one, it'd be the one with Ray Romano from Season 16.

Principal and the Pauper, that was just a ridiculous plot that made no sense.

    Saddlesore Gallactica would be second.

I'm not going to say the last 5 seasons....but I'm going to think it.

It would be the one, I think its from the Seventh season, where we find out Jebbadia Springfeild was a crook, I hated that happened though the episode was good.

If I had to choose it would probably be Simpsons Spin-Off Showcase.  I've never been too fond of that episode.

I'd only get rid the second half of the episode with Marge on steroids.

I think we could do without one of the clip shows.  However, if I had actually had the power to delete an episode from existence, I don't think that I could go through with it.

Try re-watching that episode and tell me it doesn't have brilliant writing.

Apart from the fact this thread is "If YOU could erase one episode", I like most Simpsons episodes and apart from what you think I've rewatched this over and over again and I've decided that I cannot stand this episodes.

Now that few more seasons have passed since this thread was opened, I think it's time to update it. I would erase That 90's Show. That episode ruined nearly all the "continuity" The Simpsons had. I realize they say they don't have continuity, and they mess with it all the time...but let's be honest, the show has some continuity to it, and the things they've done to mess up the continuity aren't usually major. That episode destroyed it all. Coincidentally, I actually found that episode to be funny...when I watched it without thinking about it ruining things, it has good jokes. However, it ruined too much, in my opinion, and I would erase it.

Updating it nearly 7 years later? I would just create a new thread...

But anyway, I would probably erase "All Singing, All Dancing", just because it was exactly that. No real plotline to it, and it got really annoying about 10 minutes in.

I would erase Don't Fear The Roofer in which I most hate Homer and Marge and Maggie and make me want to kill them and Bart and Lisa as well. Nobody believes Homer when he tells them about Ray, particularly Marge. Her angry lines "I'm sick and tired of hearing about that stupid unreliable Ray who I've never even met." and "Ray's not coming." and when she is angry at the beginning after the children complain of their wet things make me want to kill her and Homer sulking off to Moe's and getting kicked out make me want to kill her too. I also hate Lisa saying her hamster was to be in a show and tell which won't happen, Bart moaning of his refreshments being ruined and Maggie angrily throwing her wet teddy in the puddle and their lines (and part for Maggie) all make me want to kill them as well. Sorry of this but it's the Bruce Springsteen - Born In The USA song which has an infamous line "Sent me off to a foreign land to go and kill the yellow man." which is what I want to do to Homer and his family and Krusty and Patti and Selma and replace man with girl for Lisa, clown for Krusty, woman for Marge and family for the family. If your partner met a roofer and told you all about it, would you believe your partneror not?
