I liked the direction of this episode. I like that it mostly focused on Comic Book Guy, with a little help from Homer. I don't remember Lisa in this episode though, was she in it? Some parts were funny, although the "trip scenes" were meh to me. Probably referencing things that I don't understand. I liked the call backs to old episodes like Milhouse being Fallout Boy and Homer being Mr. Sparkle. I was kind of tired watching this, so I might have to see it again. It wasn't bad overall though.

The "trip scene" was referencing many anime movies by Studio Ghibli/Miyazaki.

Lisa was in it. She was also in the dream sequence where she and Bart was a snail. This episode was very creative.

I loved the part where Milhouse laid an egg and the duckling breathed fire on the 3 bully headed dragon. Classic!

I like the fact that Comic Book Guy got married. I assumed the episode would end with the girl's father taking her back to Japan and we would never see her again. I'm glad I was wrong. As was mentioned by other users, "Married to the Blob" is a very clever and creative episode. I loved the references to Hayo Miazaki's excellent animated film Spirited Away in Homer and the Japanese man's dream. I laughed the loudest when I saw No Face.

The ending was a little ominous someone putting the comic of CBG's wedding in the discount bin for 10c, what does that mean?
