This will sound like a stupid, weird, crazy notion... and would never ever happen- but seeing as it's Halloween soon i was thinking about how theres a Ruby Gloom 'make your own episode' thread at the Ruby Gloom forums... and i got a idea... not a brilliant one just an idea- of a THOH crossover with Ruby Gloom. See Ruby and her friends wouldn't come to Springfield, but Bart and Lisa would go to Gloomsville to stay with Ruby for some reason. Anyway heres a normal episode idea:

    'Bart the Detective'

Shops in Springfield are being robbed by an unknown thief who manages to short circuit security cameras before entering shops and making off with thousands of dollars worth of goods. Bart, having recently begun school holidays, decides to play detective with Milhouse. Lisa uses some bribe like revealing Bart still has a teddy bear or so forth to join and they go trying to discover who the thief is. It turns out to be grandpa who has been forced to do dirty work for the mafia after they gave his wife a funeral he couldn't afford (the opening act is about grandpa's new wife Betty whom he met at the retirement castle). Bart somehow hands fat Tony into the cops and gets the reward- a thousand dollars, which he splits with grandpa.

How about one where Homer gets fired because Lenny told Mr. Burns that Homer was goofing off. In orderto make Homer understand, Marge, Lisa and Barttell three stories of betrayal.

    THE DO'H-CIAL NETWORK

Bart gets dumped by his girlfriend, causing Bart to express his anger by typing about his girlfriend and the break-up on Twitter. Milhouse hears about the relationship and Bart uses Milhouse's algorithm to design a website that allows users to rate other femalestudents at Springfield Elementary. Bart gets suspended fromschool after the incident. Sherri and Terri hear about it and approach Bart with the idea of a social-networking website that is exclusive to every student at Springfield Elementary. Bart gives himself a 42-day head start and pitches the idea to Milhouse, who goes along with the idea. Sherri and Terri hear about this and get in touch with their father's lawyer. Their lawyer was unavailable, so they approach Principal Skinner and tell Bart that he has broken one of the rules on the code of conduct which states this is unacceptable to steal from other students, but Principal Skinner dismisses the whole idea, stating that Bart did not thieve anything that is physically there. Bart finished the website under the name 'thefriendguide'. He books a meeting with Simon Woosterfield who is infatuated with the idea. Although there were no deals reached, Simon advises Bart to rename the website to simply 'Friendguide'. As Bart and Simon are making money and being business partners, Milhouse starts tofeel replaced and also left out of the group. The site is a success andafter hearing that 'Friendguide' has became available globally, Sherri and Terri finally work up the courage to sue Bart. As Milhouse walks into his office, A pile of papers are stacked onto his desk. Milhouse goes through the papers until he finds a contract that will cut his share of stock and leave him penniless. Milhouse confronts Bart, revealing his intention to sue him. It has been revealed that the whole story was in a flashback, as Bart was testifying inone lawsuit filed by Sherri, Terri and Milhouse, who teamed up to sue Bart.

This will sound strange but i feel a little bad for Moe all alone. so i have an idea called "Thai the knot". Moe is at the bar homer's lying down in his own druel at midday, when he should be at work. mr. burns and alot of the employees are at the bar after a big through up Burns said he was throughing. Moe wakes them up and mr burns says he was only throughuing the party all the drinks are coming out of their pay. moe is so misrible he thinks of comitting suicide but remembers it always fails so he looses his interested. he lay's down while drunk accidently turns the TV on and sees a documentry about Thailand, and Thai brides. so Moe decides he wants to go to thailand to get a bride. homer says "Moe i cant let you go alone im comming with you" and marge and the kids go with him to keep him out of trouble.

Moe goes to the marage agency and finds a woman who fits his criteria. her name is Ling and she works at a bar aswell on Bangkok. as they go to meet her alot of the girls on the streets are throughing them selves at homer and moe. Marge says "Wow. People in Thailand sure are friendly" Lisa: "Mom all these women are objectafying themselves because they want to get together with a rich man" Bart: "Save your preeching for church sis" and goes off with a 17 year old thai girl. Moe meets his bride in the bar where they hold kickboxing. she's also a compediter as well as a bar girl. homer gets into a fight with too many fighters and in the end he punches the king of Thailandwho says"Hey you the guy the Emperor of Japan warned me about." and now homer and moe spend time in a Thai prision.

they are finally released and ling still wants to marry moe so they have the wedding in Bangkok and go home. so when ever moe needs one of the anoying bums evicted he calls his wife.

How about a Treehouse of Horror episode that spoofs Shutter Island.

Homer becomes a cop and gets sent out to a mental institutionwith his partnerWaylonto investigate a case regarding a missing patient named Via Bemerugor. They are guided by Mr. Burns, who owns the institution, but can not speak with Via's psychiatrist because he had gone on vacation before Via had escaped. Homer and Waylon begin to search Via's room. Homer finds a note that reads:'The law of 4. Who is 67?'Homer andWaylon search the grounds and end upgetting separated from each other. Homer searches the other wards to find him and runs into Barney who appears to Homer with a black eye stating that Homer had done this to him. Homer, having looked everywhere, decides to search for Waylon in the lighthouse. He attacks the guards and makes his way up to find Burns sitting at a desk in one of the rooms. Homerforces Burns to tell him where Waylon is, only to be told by Burns that he (Homer) had came to the institution alone and had been here for 5 years.Homer doesn't believe him. So Burns brings out a blackboard that proves the law of 4.

    HOMER SIMPSON MARGE BOUVIER

    SIMON POMSHER VIA BEMERUGOR

It reveals that the law of 4 was designed by Homer, centering on the fournames which are anagrams for one another, revealing that Homer is actually Simon Pomsher, an alcoholicsafety inspector at Springfield Nuclear Power Plant that was sent to the institution for murding his manic-depressivewife Marge Bouvier after coming home to find that she had murdered their three children: Lisa, Bart and Maggie.

Simon/Homer was unable to forgive himself for what he had done and created his fantasy life as Homer Simpson ashis way of coping with the loss. Burns hands him a documentstating thatSimon/Homer is incredibly violent and had beaten up Barney after he referred to Homer as 'Pomsher'.

Waylon walks through Burns' office to reveal himself as Simon/Homer's psychiatrist in which he and Burns reveal that the Via Bemerugor case was a role-playing game devised to let Simon act out his delusions as well as bring him back to reality.Simon/Homer has a flasnback of that day and sees sense. Burns tells Simon/Homer of how they succeeded with treating him once before a sudden relapse, warning him that he (Simon/Homer) will be lobotomized if he ever regresses again.

The next day,Waylon/Psychiatrist sits outside with Simon/Homer to talk with him. Itall goes well until Simon/Homer refers to his psychiatrist as Waylon. He (Waylon/Psychiatrist) signals to Burns that the treatment was unsuccessful. Burns prepares to have Simon/Homer lobotomized, who agrees stating that he'would rather die as Homer than live as a killer.'He calmly walks off as the orderlies follow him.

Several "Simpsons" episodes come to mind--among them, Homer Simpson having recurring nightmares about leaving Marge to pursue a homosexual relationship with ex-House Speaker Newt Gingrich (in "WORST NEWTMARE EVER"); in "Edna's Crush", Edna ditches her career as Springfield Elementary teacher to pursue a long-lost dream as a rock-and-roll musician--and ends up playing the guitar even better than Otto, much to the consternation of Edna's boyfriend Ned Flanders, who, as a Christian, eschews rock music as the tool of Satan. (The title, "Edna's Crush", is a play on Eden's Crush, a short-lived and now long-forgotten WB Network reality series.) In a third episode, the Simpsons go to Mexico after learning that Milhouse has discovered a miracle cure for swine flu, which plagued that country not too long ago. The running gag is that the villa of Milhouse, Mexico is nearly identical to Springfield, thanks to Americanization. In "Scratchy's Revenge", Bart and Lisa watch a series of "Itchy & Scratchy" cartoons in which Scratchy outsmarts Itchy, leading to the program's highest ever ratings; Bart and Lisa become disillusioned when the writer behind these new scripts is slated to be fired. Bart will also become dismayed, with his friend Milhouse, when they learn that the Ah! Fudge chocolate factory is slated to be closed due to economic downturn--this may be a secondary plot for "Scratchy's Revenge", especially if Ah! Fudge is slated as a new sponsor for the Itchy & Scratchy Show. The episode "Bigger Loser" (a play on NBC's Biggest Loser) has Homer wondering why he is having trouble losing weight, especially when he sees Comic Book Guy losing nearly 100 pounds and appearing on the FOX Daytime talk show Vieira, starring Meredith Vieira--it becomes her first broadcast to beat The Price Is Right and The View head-on in the ratings. In "Day of the Jackass", Homer thinks that Nathanel West's play, Day of the Locust, was written specifically about him! (The original literary work featured a secondary character, Homer Simpson, who is said to be the inspiration for The Simpsons' protagonist.) "Those Old Time Steroids" (a play on Bob Seger's Old Time Rock & Roll) has Ruth Powers bulking up for the Olympics weightlifting competition, only to become disqualified, resulting in the loss of her new lover, Troy McClure, Jr., the illegitimate son of the late actor Troy McClure who is, unlike his actor dad, a shameless promotional huckster. "Take The Bait, Please" has Mr. Burns engaging in a new twist on the outdated sport of bearbaiting, as he arranges to have both a bull and a bear chained to a tree, encouraging gamblers to speculate on which animal escapes first. Meanwhile, Moe starts showing a new WWE program, "Chair Wrestling" at his bar and encourages similar gambling. Finally, "Our Miss Muntz" has school bully Nelson Muntz making a stark revelation--that he wants to undergo sex change surgery--and starts emulating Mrs. Krabapple, prompting derisive laughter from all his classmates except Lisa, who tries convincing him that the grass is not always greener on the other side.

One other episode will involve Moe and Apu swapping jobs due to economic conditions as well as bizarre situations. The episodic title, "Job Swap", is a play on ABC's Wife Swap.

One more new episode I have thought of..."2 Fat Broads"...a play on CBS' 2 Broke Girls...in which Patty and Selma are selected as the broads to replace Tina Fey, who is tired of answering questions from contestants while sequestered in an isolation booth and wearing only sweaters, hot pants and stockings on the new hit game show "Utter Humiliation". Ms. Fey also gets weary of her new nickname, "Shortypants". In the new version, Patty and Selma wear plus-size versions of Madonna's famous corset and fishnets and have bizarre things happen to them in the booth whenever they answer questions incorrectly, such as electric shocks and pies-in-the-face.

    The Kids Are Always Right

When an motivational speaker convinces Principal Skinner and Superintendent Chambers to do a expeirment for the school and allow the parents to let the kids have one week and listen to whatever they want. Some of the parents gets outraged because of it, but Marge feels that no matter what the kids still need the parents. When the week begins, the parents must listen to their kids and do not argue with them. However, when Bart goes overbaord with this experiment, it casues the other kids to go overboard which leads to Marge and Lisa to find a way to undo this mess before it gets worse.

A few more Simpsons ideas have come across this brain: KRUSTY BITES THE DUST, which would not air until the definitive final season, would have Krusty accidentally trampled to death by Stampy the elephant on what turns out to be the last broadcast of "The Krusty The Clown Show". On the same day, conservative talk show host Birch Barlow dies of a heart attack while on the air. MOE LAWSUIT BLUES would feature former gym teacher turned shop teacher Mr. Pommelhorst in a prominent role as he seeks to become a friend of Homer and company at Moe's Tavern by livening up drinks such as chocolate beer and cinnamon whiskey, which Moe then claims as his own specialties, only to be sued by prominent liquor companies such as Sam Adams, who hold the trademarked recipes. This forces Homer and his friends to raise money to keep Moe's Tavern afloat. BART THE AERIALIST is a sequel to BART THE DAREDEVIL in that Bart tempts fate--as well as Homer--again by walking across Springfield Gorge on a tightrope. THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING IN SPRINGFIELD has Bart and Milhouse transferred to a boarding school, where they must cope with undesirable roommates and cannot see each other--this is a parody of "This Can't Be Happening At MacDonald Hall", a book generally read in junior high. A MISSED SUMMER'S RIGHT DREAM has Bart and Milhouse dreaming of attending an Itchy & Scratchy convention, except that Bart may miss it because he has a hissy fit with both Marge and Principal Skinner. RADIOACTIVE MAN CLASSICS would feature three tales of Bart's favorite superhero, which he and Milhouse present at the Android's Dungeon after Comic Book Guy has a stroke--RM would take on foes such as Roachator, The Extinguisher and Fossil Man. At least one of these installments would have Gloria Grand become Radioactive Woman as well.

Just thought of a cool Simpson idea, what if another Simpson Halloween special or basically a mini episode. that could be like through the eyes of Maggie (how Maggie sees he family, e.g Marge giving Maggie her bottle...food fights and much much more!)during a single day. everyone knows Maggie in the day care, animated short was a success... so who knows about my idea.
